Studying effects of Internal UV radiation on the chemical composition of CSEs.
1 : Chalmers University of technology & Onsala space observatory
The UV radiation impacts the chemistry of circumstellar envelopes (CSEs) around evolved stars. However, there is little research on the influence of internal UV sources such as chromospheric activity and binary companions on the physical and chemical conditions of CSEs.
In this talk, I will discuss our initial results of considering the internal UV radiation on the chemical modeling of CSEs.
