Linear Line spectropolarimetry of post-Red Supergiants

Spectropolarimetry around the Halpha line emission line has proven to be a very powerful tool to probe asymmetric structures of ionised regions at scales as small as a few stellar radii. In this contribution we outline the method and present new observations of IRC +10420 and the central star of the Fried Egg nebula. These are compared and contrasted to previously obtained data of IRC +10420 and a third post-Red Supergiant HD 79821.
